Congratulations on hosting this much needed event. Wish we could have been there. We hosted a similar event over three days in Nova Scotia Canada last weekend, with Dr. Jay Battacharya as our keynote speaker. Our focus was on the general topic of free speech in medicine, but most of the conversation this year was (for obvious reasons) around what has happened to medicine and science during the pandemic. The speakers were all fantastic, but the best part of the whole thing was getting everyone together "around the water cooler" for informal conversations, handshakes and hugs. Many friendships were formed and people who have felt hopeless and isolated for almost 3 years now felt uplifted and connected. It was magical. And we are planning to do it again next year. Our side needs to look harder at who was deliberately spreading panic and sowing confusion and misinformation that comprised the pandemic narrative.
