I just signed up. Former psychiatrist who did med school in Germany, in German, in the mid-to-late-80s. Was penniless (medicine is not a lucrative career in Germany) and in my mid=forties having one year in a psych residency. Couldn't afford to take time off to learn English vocabulary, take Boards, then compete with people my children's age for a spot in a residency. I left medicine never to return.
