Molly, I stopped trusting the healthcare system as I arrived in Ky. Obamacare plus HMOS destroyed many Dr./ patient relationships. I was working for a group in northern VA when HMOS came in plus Kaiser Permamente where you really didn’t have a choice of Dr. After retirement, many of the private practice Drs were bought out by hospital groups which changed the time that was allotted to each patient. I witnessed three family members who were treated badly and died. Covid changed everything for the worse. You couldn’t get an appt or referral without a lot of red tape (Medicare). I personally had a serious situation which if you had not intervened, I wouldn’t have been seen for 3 months. I had a kidney stone recently and had a terrible experience with a bill over $8000. I wanted to explain a little of why we are so grateful and thankful for your love, expertise, and kindness not just for family but your patients. Keep doing what you know is right and don’t give into the untruths that the CDC and other agencies are promoting. We love you and are very proud of the Dr., daughter, wife, sibling and mother you are.

Ever since the nursing home OD'd my 90 yr old father on dilantin (he was in a fetal position and almost dead, they were not monitoring the blood levels of the med in his blood) I won't go to a doctor unless it's critical. I worked (not at home) thruout C and never wore a mask, anywhere. When I got sick in Sept of 22 I stayed home and laid on the couch till I was better. About a week. I really don't trust Docs after all this!!

I’m with you Molly. While I respect all the years of training my colleagues have endured over the years, it’s tough to look past their behavior over the past 2-3 years.

A friends elderly mother in another state ended up with pneumonia after flu and had to be hospitalized for a week. Her daughter was messaging me 10 times a day as to how to approach the docs, what tests or treatments to allow, etc. The biggest factor was another daughter pretty much stayed with her mother 24-7 during her stay to make sure no funny business could occur.

She made it out of the hospital and is recovering well. But if the daughter wasn’t there advocating for her mom constantly I’m not sure it would have gone as well.

So it really is a shame that as physicians the last place I would want to send any of my patients, friends or family is to a hospital.

What does that say about the state of our healthcare system?

Thank you for your courage. We patients need a Dr. we can trust-not one who is intentionally blind to truth and reality.

OH I almost forgot about the MOST egregious issue. My mother was told her blood work was not normal and to make an appointment with the cardiologist. When we sat in the office she was told to take a med for some supposed issue. When I asked what the side effects were the doctor YES ACTUALLY SAID "there are none". I work as an interpreter and know enough about meds that that cannot be true. When I questioned him he ACTUALLY SAID. "If I tell my patients the side effects they won't take any medicines". I kid you not. Needless to say we were told to leave the office when I questioned him. Later after investigation I found out IF you took the med you were supposed to be observed in the hospital for a week. At that time my Mother was 89 and lived alone. I should have sued his ass for sure!!

Thanks for being brave & sharing. Today is last (sort of) day to speak out against FDA mandatory Cov19 shots. Pls stand for our health freedom & right to refuse; pls encourage all your fans to take 2 mins to log their objections publicly today. I did last night. Thought it would be only 2 mins but felt good to have a ability to directly rant to our oppressors. These will go on public record. Thanks again, doc, for speaking TRUTH in the face of TYRANNY.

Amen sister! I have lost all trust in the vast majority of physicians. Thank God my parents' doc is awake and open to my suggestions. Both my parents were on the iMASK+ ivermectin prevention protocol (at my request) and right around the time the FLCCC doubled the ivermectin dose for the delta variant, my folks got sick. Both are very high risk. Dad is 80 and mom is 75. Both are obese, diabetic, & hypertensive. Mom also has COPD and cancer history. Dad has cancer history and prior stent placement. They had cold symptoms and their O2 sat was 91% when they tested positive for CoVid. Their physician and I immediately doubled their ivermectin, vitamins and zinc. They both received MABS. Dad was completely asymptomatic in 48 hrs. Mom was well by 4 days. Dad was mad he had to quarantine for another week so he "quarantined" out on his tractor working ground. It is so hard to watch all the needless suffering and deaths at the hands of physicians that simply refuse to WAKE UP to the obvious corruption in our FDA, CDC and NIH.

So I had an episode where my blood pressure plummeted and I passed out but it was Friday late in the evening. I woke up on the floor and pulled myself off the floor, harder at 82 than when I was younger. Had an internal debate on the ER and decided the weekend was not a good time.. Took a Uber to the ER on Monday at ~ 10AM. Poked and prodded for 6 hours, mostly waiting my turn. Cleared as being OK. Then they walked in with a swab for my Covid test and I declined. After my Uber home, I did the gargle and Qtip with dilute Betadine.

My trust in medical care has largely evaporated. I do know the weekend is never a good time to enter a hospital. My falling BP is something I am usually aware of and normally prepared for when standing quickly. A marginal baro sensor seems to be the cause and it is quite infrequent. But I had gotten up from the couch and was attempting the tidy the kitchen counter before going to bed. Note to self - stop trying to hurry.
